Masis Staffing is seeking individuals to work as a Door Production Specialist at a local company that makes interior and exterior doors. This position is temp-to-hire with weekly pay and is in Saco, ME.

1st shift - Monday – Friday – 6 am – 2:30 pm - $20.00/hour

Overtime is available!

Job Duties and responsibilities:

• Operating machines to help with attaching the casing to the doors.
• Working with a partner to inspect each door for dents, splits, or cracks.
• Place each door into a plastic bag with your partner then put cardboard sides.
• Roll the door through the strapping machine to secure the cardboard around the door.
• Work together to remove the doors from the rollers and move onto the next door.
• Help in the finishing department by attaching incase windows by attaching them to the doors.

Ideal candidate:

• Read a tape measure (required).
• Construction knowledge
• Carpentry skills (a plus)
• Knowledge of basic hand tools, cordless drills, screw guns, staple guns.
• Work well with others to keep productivity goals up.
• Willingness to learn the complete process of making the doors.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Carpentry: 1 year (Preferred)
• Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
• Read a tape measure: 3 years (Required)
• basic hand tools: 2 years (Preferred)
• cordless drills, screw guns, staple guns: 2 years (Preferred)
• visual inspections: 1 year (Preferred)

• English (Required)
