Job description
Duties
- This is a developmental position to Waiter, NA-7420-03, PD#AK079. As a trainee, develops skills and knowledge as a dining room and cocktail lounge, and a family type restaurant environment waiter/waitress.
- Set tables, arrange place settings/table decorations, receive guests, make dining suggestions, answer questions about food/wines/etc, take orders, place orders with the kitchen, and receive food/beverage orders.
- Collects cash or payment by credit card and maintains sales record.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements

- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Willing to complete food sanitation and safety training within the first thirty (30) days of employment and on an annual basis thereafter.
- Must meet state/local age requirements at the time of appointment for selling and serving alcoholic beverages (18 years of age).
Qualifications
- Must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverages at the time of appointment; The State of Washington requirement is 18 years or older.
- Possess basic math skills necessary to compute patron bills and make change.
- Able to communicate effectively in English.
