POSITION SUMMARY

The Vice President of Operations of Medical Devices will provide proactive global leadership and transformational change required to optimize the performance and efficiency of all manufacturing, supply chain, and related functions globally. The incumbent will provide the manufacturing strategy across all operations while ensuring safety, quality, and operational excellence. Optimized performance and efficiencies will align with, and support, the high-growth and financial performance objectives of our Company.

Expectations

The Vice President – Operations will be the leader of the Company’s production of the world’s leading cryogenic equipment and services for the life sciences industry. This responsibility includes operations planning, organizing, and executing the manufacture and delivery of industry-leading products and services; all elements of material requirements planning, which includes strategic sourcing/vendor contract management, receiving, warehousing, fulfillment, distribution, inventory management, and control, demand forecasting and supply planning, item/assembly master management, vendor

Qualification and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Education in Business, Engineering or Manufacturing
  • MBA a plus
  • 12 – 15 years of experience leading advanced manufacturing operations, preferably in medical devices
  • Demonstrated experience working with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors
  • Demonstrated exceptional written and oral communication skills demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate
  • Comfortable working within a fast-growth environment.
  • Experienced in quality systems and audits and regulatory environments
  • Ability to lead, coach, and grow the competencies of the operations organization
  • Knowledge of various quality systems and regulatory standards that are applicable to ISO and GMP compliance

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in medical device manufacturing or related industries
  • Experience with ISO 9000 and/or ISO 13485
