East Valley Veterinary Clinic is seeking an immediate FULL time experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. We are a busy four doctor practice providing exemplary care and customer service in a team oriented environment. Our clinic is located just outside of Sugar House and minutes from downtown. We are looking for an individual with strong customer service skills that is detail oriented and strong problem solving skills, is able to maintain a pleasant demeanor when the environment becomes busy.

Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to the following:

• Answering inbound calls, setting appointments and answering general questions
• Welcoming clients into the clinic and getting them checked in for treatment
• Generating invoices, receiving and posting payments
• Processing credit card transactions
• Reviewing clinic emails, sending and receiving faxes
• Assisting with maintaining a clean and tidy lobby area and rooms

Skills needed to achieve success in this role:

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• The ability to gather the proper information on the phone to enable the medical staff to make correct decisions regarding urgency and care needed.
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Shows great initiative and can learn new skills quickly

• A friendly, outgoing demeanor with a true desire to make the client experience an exceptional one
• Ability to operate multi-line telephone, copier, printer, and fax.
• Strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Exhibiting true compassion for owners and their animals

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay

All employees must be fully vaccinated for Covid.

• Veterinary experience: 1 year (Required)
• Customer service: 1 year (Required)
