TICKET TAKER FOR RECREATION AREA – TRENTON INDIAN SERVICE AREA JOB SUMMARY

Ticket Taker for Recreation Area: The Trenton Indian Service Area is accepting applications for a Ticket Taker for the Trenton Recreation Area. They will be responsible for ensuring an orderly recreational area. They will greet patrons, take tickets, share information and ensure accountability for users and renters.

This position is a seasonal position with an anticipated duration through open summer season of the recreation area, with the ability to set own hours. This position is paid on a commission basis based off fees collected from recreational users and renters. This position is categorized as an independent contractor.

Responsibilities

· Collecting fees for the Trenton Recreation Area as set forth by the TISA Council

· Registering all vehicles such as campers, trailers, trucks, cars, ATV’s, etc., and to keep proper documentation of guest’s vehicles on file

· Distribute the rules of the park to all users and campers

· Checking with patrons to see if there is any need with water, electricity or garbage

· Take patron complaints about other patrons, and act accordingly and efficiently to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience within out park

· Weekly book reconciliation with the TISA finance office to accurately document accounts receivable

· Act as a liaison with camper complaints

· Make sure that when the time limit is up, campers and patrons are move out of the park

· Call law enforcement when needed

· Additional responsibilities may be assigned as appropriate, this summary is not considered to encompass all responsibilities

Qualifications

· High school diploma and/or GED equivalent

· Valid driver’s license

· Clean Driving Record

· Excellent interpersonal skills: fun, friendly, reliable

· Ability to successfully pass all pre-employment requirements including a drug/alcohol test and background investigation
