Job description
As a User Experience (UX) Designer, you are responsible for applying humanity-centered design principles to create engaging products. Discovery and analysis influence your designs so that our products are accessible, seamless, and delightful. This role partners closely with UX peers, product owners, analysts, and developers. The UX designer understands web, Android and iOS best practices. The UX Designer’s recommendations show the ability to balance user needs, technical constraints, business goals, and brand personality.

- You will design digital experiences that comply with enterprise digital design system, brand guidelines, and UX best practices for web and mobile apps.
- You will research and analyze problems and user behaviors to incorporate findings in design recommendations.
- You will work with a humanity-centered design team that supports multiple product teams with differing services and users.
- You will need to adhere to accessibility and inclusive design best practices.
- You will need to utilize interpersonal skills to collaborate with peers, developers, and stakeholders to create intuitive, user-friendly products.
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through the completion of an Associate’s Degree or 2+ years of related experience in UX, UI, Digital Design, or a related field.
- Fluent in Figma or similar programs such as Sketch, Abstract, or Adobe XD
- Experience with native application design
- Understanding of Material.io and Human Interface Guidelines
- Experience with responsive web design
- Familiar with atomic design systems
- Familiar with agile working environments and iterative product development
- Interest in accessibility, inclusivity, and belonging with respect to design practices
- Understanding of humanity-centered design
- Understanding of discovery techniques, usability testing methodologies, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data
- Flexible in your process that adjusts based on timeline and impact
- Ability to manage your workload and estimate capacity based on requirements
- Strong listening and communication skills, ability to articulate design thinking to someone without UX experience
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- User Experience (UX) copywriting experience is preferred
