O’Brien Toyota is seeking to grow our used vehicle operations and is in need of a full-time used car
mechanical reconditioning technician. The main responsibilities of this position would be to thoroughly
inspect used vehicles for our inventory and then repair all of the approved work. Our mission is to
provide safe and reliable transportation for our customers and family, so you would be a key component
in that mission. Compensation is negotiable and would be a performance based flat rate pay plan.
Proposed schedule would be 8-5 Monday through Friday but can be adjusted as needed. Please feel

Job Duties:
Thoroughly conduct multi-point inspections of all components of used vehicles including
interior, mechanical, engine, drivetrain, alignment, electronics, etc.
Conduct a comprehensive test drive of the vehicle as part of the inspection
Communicate directly with used car manager or other sales managers the findings of
inspections
Communicate with parts department to order needed parts
Perform approved work
Conduct all inspections and work needed for Toyota Certified Used Vehicles
No body or paint work is required of this position
Occasionally assist main shop with customer vehicles as needed
Other duties may be assigned as needed

Requirements:
Previous automotive experience required
ASE and/or Toyota certifications preferred
Must supply own tools
Extremely detail oriented and thorough
Safety minded
Ability to work independently
Must have clean driving record and valid driver’s license
Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen
