Position: Registered Nurse | Med Surg, Tele, ER & ICU Specialties
Location: Honolulu, Hawaii
Experience: At least 2 years of working experience as a Registered Nurse; Medical Surgical, Tele, ER and/or ICU experience a required
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Type: Full-time; Contracts & Per Diem
Schedule: Day Shift
Pay: Up to $50/hour, based on position and experience
Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking Registered Nurses to join our growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Recording details and symptoms of patient medical history and current health
- Preparing patients for exams and treatment
- Administering medications and treatments, then monitoring patients for side effects and reactions
- Creating, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans with the medical team
- Drawing blood, urine samples, and other body fluids for lab work
- Educating patients and family members on treatment and care plans, as well as answering their questions
- Supervising licensed practical and vocational nurses, nursing assistants, and nursing students
Position Requirements:
- Valid Hawaii RN License is required
- Vaccination Records and 2-step TB Clearance within the past 12 months
- Current BLS (must be from American Heart Association)
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
