Department: Stepdown Intermediate Care Unit
Location: Lewisburg, PA
Typical Work Schedule: Days & Nights. 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Rotating weekends and holidays.
Shift: Shift 1
Exempt: No FTE: 0.500000 (40 hours bi-weekly)
Position Purpose:
Summary:
Provides clerical services as well as assists in providing patient care and maintaining a safe and clean environment under the direction of a Registered Nurse in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Satisfactory completion of recognized formal program for nursing assistant/ health care assistant/medical secretary preferred. Medical Terminology course preferred.
Credentials:
- BLS required within 30 days of hire
Pennsylvania state police criminal record check, child abuse history clearance and an FBI criminal history check required.
