Responsibilities
Our client is looking for a Unified Communications Architect, Senior to join their team!
- Support the development of architectural blueprints for new networks and enhancements to production networks
- Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts; contributes to the development of new principles and concepts
- Work on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions
- Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision; mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies
Requirements
HS diploma or GED and 14+ years of experience in a professional work environment or a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in a professional work environment- 10+ years of experience with networking, telecommunications, and unified communications technologies
- Experience with modeling and analyzing enterprise business applications and technology environments, including business process models, multi-system or system of systems views, conceptual and logical infrastructure views, or conceptual and logical data views
- Experience with developing and improving application architecture and integration requirements
- Experience with design or implementation Cisco Unified Communications Systems
- Experience designing or administering VMWare vSphere environments
- Ability to evaluate problems of workflows, organization, and planning to develop appropriate corrective action analytically and systematically
- Experience with technology leadership
- Experience with communicating complex concepts and approaches to senior-level technical and management clients
- Knowledge of program management, including planning, execution, and project delivery
- Experience with cybersecurity information assurance and compliance
- CCIE Collaboration certification, CCNP Enterprise certification
- Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of hire
Education Requirements
- A HS diploma or GED and 14+ years of experience in a professional work environment
OR
- A Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in a professional work environment
Clearance Requirements
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active Top Secret clearance is required.
