Firestone & Robertson Distilling Company, LLC is seeking dedicated TX Whiskey brand-fans to join the TX Whiskey Visitor Center Team. The TX Whiskey Distillery is located on the breath-taking Whiskey Ranch grounds near downtown Fort Worth, Texas. This part-time position will work closely with the Visitor Center Team to create memorable customer experiences, process POS transactions, and assist with daily opening and closing duties in the TX Whiskey Ranch Gift Shop. Our ideal candidate is a passionate brand ambassador and will provide exceptional service in all TX Whiskey consumer facing activities. This person will report directly to the company’s Retail Manager and will play a key role in the company’s growth and success.

Responsibilities:

• Pursue daily sales goals by maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and product knowledge
• Process POS system transactions and adhere to proper cash handling procedures
• Greet all visitors and provide distillery information and product recommendations
• Follow all inventory management processes and assist with opening and closing procedures
• Cross sell products and services provided by TX Whiskey Ranch, and provide genuine help to increase transactions and build customer loyalty
• Answer phone calls professionally and direct calls as necessary
• Uphold and follow all company policies and safety procedures
• Assist with guest check-in, distillery tours and TX Whiskey Events, including managing the store during private contracted events
• Help process and package online and in-store pickup orders
• Assist with custom product engraving for orders, as needed

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Basic understanding of sales principles, POS, and customer care practices
• Dependable and trustworthy
• Ability to perform under pressure and address customer inquiries in a timely and appropriate manner
• Strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail
• Capability to multi-task while being attentive to customers and the needs of the business
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holiday hours

Experience And Background:

• Experience in Hospitality, Retail, or Customer Service role preferred
• Passion for or a general knowledge of distilled spirits and the TX Whiskey brand is preferred
• Willingness to learn about the industry and TX Whiskey products is a must
• Point-of Sale and cash handling experience desired
• Ability to pass background check and drug test upon receiving offer

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Retail sales: 1 year (Preferred)
• Hospitality: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Required)
