JOB CLASSIFICATION: FULL-TIME

LOCATION: San Antonio, Texas

REPORTS TO: Construction Team Lead

JOB DESCRIPTION

Trench Crew Operator requires heavy labor digging, lifting, working on ladders, and teamwork. General knowledge of heavy construction equipment is preferred. This position requires the employee to work out in the elements.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Assist as needed with all manual labor aspects for construction projects as directed by Construction Team Lead and leadership team
• Operate construction equipment such as rock saw, trencher, hand/power tools and other underground construction equipment
• Assist other team members as needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous underground utility experience is preferred
• Any experience with a rock saw, trencher, or other underground construction equipment is a plus
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig, and reach
• Must be able to lift, carry, and place heavy objects
• Must be able to pass drug screening, background check, and motor vehicle record (MVR)
• Good coordination and good work ethic/attitude is a must
• Prior construction experience is highly desirable
