5pm-2am, includes weekends

This position is responsible for knowing and ensuring adherence to policies, practices and procedures. Will be designated manager-on-duty for two service areas: Johns Hopkins Medical Campus and JHU Homewood Campus. May be called upon to drive Ford Transit vans in revenue service as well as serve as dispatcher and dispatch supervisor. May be called upon to create and distribute paper and digital work schedules and/or submit payroll records to corporate HR. Administer road tests and ride-along evaluations. Receive and act on complaints. Deliver disciplinary warnings, verbal and written. Ensure driver compliance with attendance requirements as well as passenger service requirements. Manage a diverse group of good workers who generally enjoy what they do.

This position requires excellent clerical skills, including familiarity with Excel, Word and Outlook. Must have strong reliability and punctuality. This job requires flexibility and a sense of humor. At least two years of supervisory experience a must. At least one year of passenger transportation experience a plus. Valid Maryland driver’s license and ability to pass a DOT physical a must.
