Preventative maintenance and repairs as needed on trucks.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all necessary service calls using the service truck, repair flat tires, lights, mirrors, etc.
- Perform PM’s, identify malfunctions, and perform moderate repairs on equipment and systems.
- Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications
- Organize the delivery and pick up of some equipment to fulfill customer needs by using a pickup truck & trailer
- Fabricate container equipment as needed.
- Performs miscellaneous maintenance duties as required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Minimum of 3 years related maintenance experience.
- Significant welding and fabricating experience.
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic.
- Ability to read blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer experience, including Micro Soft Office and JDE/MRO are preferred.
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. or more repetitively.
