Job description
We are seeking a Transactional Attorney to join the oil and gas practice in our Bismarck, ND office.
This position provide an excellent opportunity to enjoy the sophistication, support, and benefits of large firm practice while living in the heart of North Dakota. The main focus of our Bismarck office is energy law, primarily in the areas of oil and gas. Our lawyers are involved in all aspects of energy law including representing oil and gas producers and other energy developers in complex litigation in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings, mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, real estate transactions, and title work.
- Experience in real estate, probate, energy, and/or corporate law; interest and/or experience in oil and gas transactional law or title examination
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills
- Strong academic background
- J.D. from an ABA-Accredited Law School
- Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (and ability to get licensed in North Dakota within one year of employment)
