SUMMARY: WR has an opportunity for a Tech Manual/Training Specialist to provide technical documentation & training support to the SPQ-9B IPT at Port Hueneme, CA.

Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Develop, establish and maintain:Technical manuals and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) for Navy systems

Navy Training System Plans (NTSPs)
Technical training through Naval Education & Training Command (NETC)

• Use Technical Data Management Information System (TDMIS)

Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (preferred)

• Eight (8) years of experience in technical documentation & training support in a DoD environmentRadar related experience is a plus

• Knowledge of Advanced Technical Information Support (ATIS) process
• Proficient in MS Office applications

The selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment third-party background check which may include verification of any of the following: Employment history; Education and/or certifications; Criminal history; Driving Records; Other records or information related to the candidate’s suitability for the position.

COVID vaccination requirements for those performing work at a customer site and/or who travel as a part of their function will take precedence over guidelines for WR facilities.
