Job DescriptionDCS is looking for an experienced analyst to oversee training programs and technical manual development for an Army Project Manager located on-site at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD
Essential Job Functions:
Oversees training development via Training Development Capability (TDC) website.
Aids PM programs in developing overarching training program strategies, schedules, and plans.
Conducts site surveys and coordinates action items related to training events.
Coordinates training implementation with stakeholders.
Ensures institutional training capability is established.
Assists with acquisition of training materials:
Informs RFP to include training and tech manual requirements/guidance.
Evaluates proposals to ensure feasible approach (technical and resources).
Responsible for overseeing the contractor’s planning and execution of developing the training curriculum/tech manual & ensuring Stakeholder concurrence for approach and comments for draft material.
Conducts site surveys and serves as the PM PNT primary action officer for planning and execution of training and tech manual validation and verification events, Soldier Touch Point support, Instructor and Key Personnel Training, New Equipment Training Events.
Informs plan for technical manual authentication.
Informs planning and implementation of institutional training capability for operator and maintainer training.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Associates plus 14 years of experience.
Active SECRET clearance is required.
Must have 8 years of experience in developing and acquiring Army training materials and technical manuals.
Must have experience in planning and executing training events.
Must have experience in validating technical manuals.
Must have experience working in an Army acquisition organization.
