Our FirmBel Air Investment Advisors ("Bel Air"), an advisory practice of Hightower, provides investment management and advisory services to wealthy individuals, families, trusts and foundations, targeting clients with $20 million or more in investable assets. We offer a diverse mix of proprietary and sub-advisory investment strategies within our open architecture platform. We were founded in 1997, with offices based in Los Angeles built on a set of client-centric core beliefs which guide its practice. Bel Air employs more than 50 individuals including financial analysts, investment advisors, research professionals, portfolio managers, fixed income and equity traders, and administrative support.
Hightower provides investment, financial and retirement planning services to individuals, foundations and family offices, as well as 401(k) consulting and cash management services to corporations. Based in Chicago with advisors across the U.S., we operate as a registered investment advisor (RIA).
Responsibilities
- Manage account configurations in rebalancing software to ensure accuracy of accounts to assigned allocation models, cash reserves, and restricted securities
- Handle the daily trading activities including SMA Modeling and the execution of Equity, Option, ETF and Mutual Fund trades as directed or approved by the advisory team and some clients
- Navigate between several proprietary systems (e.g., CRM, Portfolio Accounting system, Rebalancing software, Performance Reporting and custodial platforms) to complete daily tasks
- Deliver outstanding client support to both internal and external clients, including phone and email interaction, transaction processing, trade execution and system support
- Provide market commentary and research
- Help with trade corrections and margin calculations
- Perform additional responsibilities and undertake special projects as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business or Finance or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of relevant work experience
- Possess grit, to persist through occasionally difficult or challenging assigned tasks and complete time-consuming projects requiring longer periods of time;
- Must be proficient in technology, specifically spreadsheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets), CRM and other financial software
- Compensation- $100,000-$120,000 (exact amount dependent on experience) plus performance and profit sharing bonuses
