Trade Show/Exhibition Manager

Since 1802, we have been embracing innovations and sustainable solutions of the highest quality that add value to people’s lives around the globe.- Develops and manages a comprehensive event project plan for all setup tasks, promotional items, literature, bookings, and products for the planning and organization of exhibitions/trade shows
- Plan the scope of the event (e.g., time, location, program, cost) for the organization
- Prepare, present, and manage budgets and negotiating contracts
- Approves the design, layout, cost estimates, and construction of exhibits and displays
- Manage booking and registration for tradeshows and events, set booth schedule and assist technical staff with speaking opportunities when available
- You will oversee the site team installing the exhibition, making amends where necessary
- Work with the event or show labor to ensure that required services (e.g. carpet, electrical, setup, and breakdown) are ordered and provided and booth setup and tear-down are covered
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote key shows through marketing channels such as social media, email, and advertising campaigns
- Work with sales team to plan and exhibit at annual shows
- Monitor event activities, budget, leads and ROI to ensure satisfaction of attendees and the organization
- Assist with lead generation and CRM initiatives with Sales Enablement Manager
- Analyze and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on a regular cadence to effectively present event related metrics including participation, lead generation, survey results, and cost
- Identify opportunities to participate in industry events to help with brand awareness
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, hospitality or event management.
- 5 years’ professional experience executing lead-generating events and conferences
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Experience negotiating and building partnerships with vendors, sponsors, and exhibitors.
- Effective written and verbal communication with internal and external audiences and stakeholders
- Well-organized with great multi-tasking abilities
- May need to work additional hours outside of normal business hours as required by the job, including weekends
- Great vendor management abilities
- Dependable and energetic; you’re a self-starter who will initiate and engage various teams to develop the appropriate positioning and messaging
- Ability to monitor budget
- Thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- The ability to execute multiple projects and multi-task within a changing business and technology environment, while keeping an eye on detail
- The ability to perform under pressure
- Detail-oriented and proactive at balancing strategic thinking with tactical execution
