Job Title: Toolroom Attendant
Location: Richmond, VA
What we are looking for:
Hillphoenix, Case Division offers a wide variety of career paths on which a creative and innovative individual can develop a successful career. We are looking for a toolroom attendant to oversee the maintenance storeroom. The individual must be capable to organize and control the equipment and tooling flow understanding the software and keeping a healthy inventory to support the operation.
What you will be responsible for in this role:
Inventory control of parts, tooling, and material.- Issue tooling, parts and material as required.
- Maintain calibrated tool list.
- Maintain shelf-life limited parts and material list.
- Shipping and receiving duties as required.
- Maintaining & updating records.
- Maintain core return list.
- Maintain minimum inventory quantities.
- Perform weekly, monthly, and annual inventory counts.
- Process warranty parts and paperwork.
- Performs all other duties assigned by management.
- Follow all company rules and policies
- Other duties as assigned
What are the basic qualifications?
High school diploma or GED required- 6 months relevant experience
What are the preferred qualifications?
2-year experience managing a maintenance storeroom, and ordering equipment and tooling.
To be a great fit for the role:
Basic proficiency with MS Excel and Outlook.- Previous experience using continuous improvement methodologies (LEAN, Six Sigma, etc.) to implement and measure process improvements.
