What is Polygon Labs?
Polygon Labs develops Ethereum scaling solutions for Polygon protocols. Polygon Labs engages with other ecosystem developers to help make available scalable, affordable, secure and sustainable blockchain infrastructure for Web3. Polygon Labs has initially developed a growing suite of protocols for developers to gain easy access to major scaling solutions, including layer 2s (zero-knowledge rollups and optimistic rollups), sidechains, hybrid chains, app-specific chains, enterprise chains, and data availability protocols. Scaling solutions that Polygon Labs initially developed have seen widespread adoption with tens of thousands of decentralized apps, unique addresses exceeding 225 million, over 1.2 million smart contracts created and 2.56 billion total transactions processed since inception. The existing Polygon network is home for some of the biggest Web3 projects, such as Aave, Uniswap, and OpenSea, and well-known enterprises, including Robinhood, Stripe and Adobe. Polygon Labs is carbon neutral with the goal of leading Web3 in becoming carbon negative.
Polygon is looking for a Tokenization Lead, Institutional Capital to plan and execute tokenization strategy for the Polygon Institutional ecosystem. This role directly liaises with the Institutional Capital and Strategic teams.
Responsibilities
- Leverage long-term relationships in the financial services sector to increase awareness and adoption of Polygon’s industry-leading technology
- Evangelize the benefits of tokenization broadly and share specific subject matter expertise to help institutional partners accelerate their time to market
- Consult and communicate regularly with key business partners and leaders
- Partner with peers in Product Management, Community Management, and Business Development to drive adoption and engagement of Polygon technology
- Collaborate across marketing, product, customer success, compliance, and technology teams to provide research or idea development
- Oversee tokenization market intelligence and provide actionable insight to clients or internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or business related field, or 10+ years of progressive relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of tokenization standards, public v. private networks, and identity and how to map them into highly regulated applications for institutions
- Deep understanding of current regulatory frameworks, challenges in different regions and intersection with traditional and decentralized technology capabilities
- High level of proficiency with blockchain infrastructure, DeFi, and rollup technologies
- Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills
- Ability to travel as necessary
