Responsibilities:

• Install tile materials in residential buildings, including ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles.
• Prepare the surface for installation by ensuring it is clean, level, and free of any debris or damages.
• Measure and cut tiles to fit the room's dimensions, ensuring accurate cuts and minimizing waste.
• Install tiles using appropriate tools and techniques, such as adhesive, spacers, and grout.
• Create custom patterns or designs, as required by the client or design plans.
• Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment to ensure personal safety and prevent accidents in the workplace.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a tile setter in residential construction.
• Knowledge of various types of tile materials and their applications, including cutting, grouting, and sealing.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools, such as saws, drills, and tile cutters.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.

Hours and Salary:

• Hours: 25 - 40 hrs per week - 1099 Independent Contractor
• Salary: $75/ Hour, Depending on experience
