The Sales Manager of Choice Pet Products will be a driving force from day one! This sales juggernaut will join our company with the goal to make their mark taking Choice Pet Products sales team to the next level. Our Sales Manager will bring with them business acumen gained from multiple years in leadership, business development and is capable of networking to build on an existing pipeline of contacts within the rapidly growing pet products industry. The Sales Manager will have the fortitude to build, maintain and create positive relationships with our customers to get commitments for our combined successes.

Sales Manager will be responsible for formulating overall strategy, managing people, and establishing policies while maintaining a sales territory. To be successful in this role you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while hitting and exceeding KPI?s. The leader in this role will drive sales as an independent contributor, leverage existing sales channels while building new revenue sources. Additionally, overall leadership in day-to-day operations, customer service, logistics, while creating value that will elevate Choice Pet Products and the brands we support.


Main Functions

The Sales Manager is responsible for promoting sales growth and customer satisfaction: all while communicating and supporting the Company?s mission, vision, and core values. The Sales Manager will serve as a leader in developing new business managing a sales team across Florida by identifying potential customers and strategic partnerships.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team by tracking goals, setting individual targets, and facilitating ongoing training
  • Manage organizational sales by developing business plans that cover sales, revenue, and expense controls
  • Track sales goals and reporting results as necessary
  • Coordinate with Marketing on Lead Generation
  • Develop sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education
  • Create and evaluate sales practices and processes for effectiveness
  • Provide strategies for increasing sales, feedback and developing marketing campaigns
  • Act as escalation point for any customer complaints regarding sales and service
  • Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience pet industry highly preferred
  • Prior experience in sales management role leading teams of 5 or more years
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building and interpersonal skills
  • Working for solutions-based sales approach
  • Bachelor?s Degree (preferred)

Required travel will primarily be in the State of Florida. Estimated at 15-20% of schedule
