Agri-Cycle is New England's largest food waste collection company; we are experiencing exponential growth year-after-year and provide an essential service for the entire Northeast. Currently we are looking to fill a full-time, Terminal Manager position immediately. Our home terminal is in the White River Jct., VT area, managing regional day-time collection routes throughout Vermont, New Hampshire & New York.

Agri-Cycle has a newly implemented bonus program to incentivize great performance. With this program, employees have the ability to increase their earnings by at least $6000 per year.

The job responsibilities of Terminal Managers at Agri-Cycle include, but are not limited to the items listed below.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Overseeing multiple food waste collection routes
• Managing inbound & outbound loads at on-site transfer station
• Manage all aspects of administrative operations to include driver payroll, training, DOT safety, etc.
• Assisting with daily truck maintenance, coordination with third party vendors
• Reviewing collection routes to optimize efficiency
• Driving and filling-in on collection routes as necessary
• Inventory management
• Reporting of transfer station activity
• Manage & understand electronic logging of hours using ELDs
• CDL Required (Class A Preferred)
• Lifting may be required

Successful Candidate Preferences Include

• Prior experience in solid waste collection industry
• Prior personnel management experience
• Knowledge of DOT rules & regulations
• Class B license (Class A License preferred)
• Heavy equipment operation experience
• Compost Certification (preferred)
• Ability to think outside the box to solve complex problems
• Strong “Get-it-done” attitude
• Minimum age of 23 years
• Strong customer service orientation
• Excellent motor vehicle record and clean background check
• Current medical card or the ability to obtain medical card
• Must pass regulated DOT drug screen
• Must pass pre-employment physical
