Overview

As the third largest credit union in Western PA, Armco Credit Union is continuing to expand and is need of an engaging, friendly, professional team member to serve as a Teller for our Butler Branch. This part-time position comes with paid holidays and vacation. We have a friendly, hometown atmosphere with supportive staff and opportunities to advance. With historically low turnover, our employees have a natural drive to help others while fostering lasting work-relationships.

Job Summary

The primary responsibilities of this Teller position include:

• Receiving and processing customer financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments; selling money orders and travelers checks to members; transferring amounts from member accounts as directed.

• Welcoming members, providing routine information concerning services, and directing members to appropriate departments for specific information and service.

• Balancing cash drawer and daily transactions.

Job Requirements

Experience: One month to twelve months of similar or related experience.

Education: A high school education or GED.

Interpersonal Skills: Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.

Other Skills:

• Knowledge of computer and database/word processing software
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work with a wide range of people
