Hatch, a full-service consultancy, is currently seeking a highly motivated Service Desk Technician to join our growing IT department in our Pittsburgh PA office.
This position reports to: Regional manager IT Operations
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users in Pittsburgh office and to remote offices daily, including PCs, network equipment and other IT services.
- Prioritize and manage service support requests in line with expected service levels targets.
- Monitor and update the service delivery system (IT Helpdesk ZenDesk) for assigned tickets
- Must be able to deploy image and software to computers locally and remotely.
- Preparing and providing support documentation, including procedural documentation when required, including providing user and group training as required.
- Manage relocation and set-up of workstations to accommodate new hires, user relocations, office relocations, office remodels and new office location installations as assigned by Regional Operation Manager.
- Promote and adhere to departmental and organizational information security policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described.
- Strive for excellence in customer service in line with the company values and expectations.
- Ability to work overtime or flexible time when required.
- Ability to travel to different offices and sites across the USA Region
- Setup, oversee & teardown corporate events as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Technical Diploma, Degree or minimum 2 years of experience in desktop/technical support in a Microsoft Windows network environment.
- Ability to support HP laptop/desktop computers, peripherals, Ricoh-MFU / plotters and other computer hardware. Utilizing
- Experienced in handling Events, Live Meetings, Webinars and corporate events using MS Teams or Zoom Video or similar systems.
- Windows Active Directory User and Computer Administration; MS Intune, MS Exchange and Office 365 Admin.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to function well in a team environment; work independently as needed.
- Strong customer focus skills, with verbal and written.
- Familiarity with Zendesk (or something similar) software and a good knowledge of remote user support.
- Knowledge of engineering design software such as Autodesk and Bentley products Bluebeam, is a clear advantage, but not required.
- Any Microsoft Certification is a plus but not required.
- Only sent to travel went completely necessary with involvement from the employee.
- US Passport will be needed in the event of domestic air travel and travel to Canada when necessary.
