Coordinated Care Services Inc (CCSI) is seeking exceptional educators to participate as Teachers in the Children's Leadership Training Institute (CLTI). The Children's Leadership Training Institute (CLTI) is a free leadership course for children designed to educate and excite children about their participation in civic life and leaders in the school and community. In a Teacher role, you would be working with students in a safe and structured environment to deliver the Children's Leadership Training Institute (CLTI) curriculum. The Children's Leadership Training Institute (CLTI) is part of the National Parent Leadership Institute (NPLI), an evidence-based national program that acknowledges the critical role of parent leadership, PLTI differentiates itself by embracing a cross-race, cross-class, and parent-informed, pro-social educational approach. As a Teacher in this program, you will be an employee of Coordinated Care Services, Inc. (CCSI) but would be contracted to collaborate with the Children's Leadership Training Institute (CLTI).

In your role as a Teacher, you will be

  • Delivering CLTI Curriculum to a specific group of children.
  • Organizing lessons each week with support from CLTI Coordinator.
  • Ensuring CLTI groups are safe, orderly, and productive.
  • Communicating any resource needs for groups to CLTI Coordinator in a timely fashion.
  • Support PLTI Alumni and family events, as requested, and in coordination with CLTI Site Coordinator.
  • Support PLTI related events.
  • Conducting other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED and 2 years of experience working with children, or equivalent education and work experience (see CCSI's equivalency chart).
