POSITION LOCATION PROGRAM

Teacher Assistant Metcalfe County Children’s Services

Closes: Open Until Filled Full-time position available with our Children’s Services Program in Metcalfe County.

Duties will include assisting the teacher in planning and carrying out the daily activities of the classroom and providing educational instruction to three and four year old children.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required, completion of Child Development Associate

(CDA) Credential require with 2 years of employment required; or have an associate or baccalaureate (in any area) or be enrolled in a program leading to such a degree.

Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development; or, CDA (Child

Development Associate) preferred. Experience working with children in a classroom setting. Good communication skills a must. Must have a valid Kentucky Driver’s License and ability to obtain Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Salary: Salary range for this position is $11.22-$14.13/hour , with an excellent benefit package.

Families.
