Principal skills relevant to our firm:

· Detail-oriented, organized, and self-guided

· Able to communicate clearly with clients, co-workers, and supervisors

· Able to adapt quickly and efficiently to keep up with fast-paced environment

· Able to work in a team environment with the ability and willingness to help others

Preferred experience:

· Recent experience in individual tax preparation

· Certification of nationally recognized tax program and recent continuing education

· Experience with tax preparation software

· Experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook

Fundamental responsibilities:

· Preparing individual income tax returns

· Communicate with clients promptly and professionally

· Attend continuing education courses to remain current with tax law

· Special projects and other functions as requested by manager or client

· Maintaining client confidentiality by upholding firm security policies

Work hours: During season: average of 50 hours per week. Non-season: 20 – 40 hours, as needed

Pay: $18 – 22/hour based on experience
