Tax Preparer
Job description
We are hiring an experienced, forward-thinking and detail oriented Tax Preparer. The ideal candidate will enjoy working independently, have experience preparing taxes and be able to adhere to deadlines. The successful candidate will also possess good computer skills, including the ability to create and deliver documents using Microsoft Word.
Responsibilities:
- Provide an optimal level of service to each client.
- Recognize fraudulent tax forms.
- Provide solutions to complicated tax law questions.
- Follow tax law regulations.
- Prepare taxes for individuals and small businesses.
- Have a basic understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and use Excel spreadsheets to create pivot tables for calculating taxes.
- Gather data from clients and enter the data into appropriate programs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
