We are seeking a tax professional with at least five years of experience in public accounting to become an integral part of our 190+ person staff in a full-time role. We are hiring Tax Managers in all four locations. The owners and employees of our firm serve middle market North Carolina businesses and organizations throughout the state from our four offices located in Raleigh, Durham, Wilmington and Emerald Isle (NC).

Job Details

Tax Manager (Essential Functions)
Expertise reviewing of business and individual tax returns
Experience using CCH Axcess Tax and Engagement trial balance software
Diverse accounting knowledge as well as experience with financial statement interpretation
Strong communication skills required for managing and developing client relationships
Exposure to both federal and state tax research
Prior experience consulting with closely held businesses

Job Requirements
Current CPA certification
At least five years of experience in Public Accounting
Strong communication skills
Extensive technical tax expertise
