A Typical Day
The Talent Acquisition Specialist facilitates the end-to-end hiring process, ensuring staffing needs are being met in support of business objectives. You will collaborate with hiring managers on recruiting activities, guide candidates throughout the recruitment and selection process, and implement talent acquisition strategies, all while providing an excellent candidate experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Facilitate the end-to-end hiring process, from sourcing candidates, screening, selection and onboarding, in accordance with internal policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement diverse sourcing strategies to include postings, direct sourcing, college campus recruiting, media, professional networks and referrals.
- Use various methods to recruit and network with potential candidates including social media platforms, networking events and job fairs.
- Conduct preliminary interviews with recruits to gauge interest and cultural fit.
- Using standardized screening techniques, assess the skills, qualifications and experience of potential candidates.
- Provide excellent customer service to hiring managers about requisition updates and work closely with hiring managers and HR team in the selection and hiring process.
- Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events.
- Support college recruiting efforts and internship program.
- Provide support with new hire orientation.
- Assist with immigration and relocation programs.
What You Will Need
- Minimum of a High School diploma and 4 years’ of related experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a Business field with 1 year related experience or a Master’s degree in a related field of study.
- Experience using an applicant tracking system and HRMS.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Proficiency in using MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Business Administration or related field.
- Recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Experience recruiting for technical, professional, and managerial positions.
