Raba Kistner is seeking a self-motivated Talent Acquisition Recruiter to join our team at our corporate office in San Antonio, TX. Responsible for relationship development, sourcing, screening and interviewing of candidates and coordination of strategic hiring for the organization. Develop networks and pipelines for of potential candidates. Work with the Marketing department for branding enhancements. Perform all administrative duties such as report generation, writing correspondences, etc. in a neat, accurate and professional manner.

  • Build effective relationships with leaders across the organization to design and execute recruiting programs to meet the internal client needs.
  • Perform analysis of hiring needs and provide employee hiring forecast.
  • Develop and update job descriptions, job postings and perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives.
  • Prepare recruitment materials, post jobs for openings and monitor all job postings in Applicant Tracking Software (ATS), statewide websites and other advertisement sources.
  • Source and screen candidate resumes and job applications.
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates, document results, and discuss the candidate status with the Hiring Manager and the interviewing team.
  • Disposition all positions utilizing disposition codes and ensure job requisitions are closed out with proper codes in the ATS system.
  • Assist with design strategies for the sourcing and acquisition of qualified candidates through traditional and non-traditional channels.
  • Capture and monitor workforce planning with business units to gather requirements for strategic hires.
  • Utilize creative methods to attract talent such as being active on social media forums, career fair attendance, making cold calls, college recruiting, utilizing employee referral bonus program and other methods to identify qualified candidates
  • Work with the Marketing department to design, plan and execute innovative social media campaigns and employer branding activities and strategies.
  • Build relationships with and manage strategic recruiting resources and act as liaison with preferred employment vendors to ensure steady candidate flow and contract compliance.
  • Maintain active database of potential candidates in the appropriate applicant tracking software, documenting phone calls and other contacts and communication.
  • Assist with new employee relocation and relocation companies when applicable.
  • Improve organizational attractiveness by recommending best practices, monitoring job offers and emphasizing benefits and perks.
  • Assist with the intern program by conducting orientations, scheduling rotations and assignments, monitoring intern job contributions and coordinating training and coaching with managers.
  • Review background checks and drug test results for employment clearance.
  • Ensure that all company diversity and affirmative action goals are taken into consideration and are integral to all candidates recruiting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources or related field and a minimum 1-3 years of full cycle recruiting experience required. Experience working in the Engineering Industry is a plus. Knowledge of social media advertisements and employer branding techniques is a plus. Must possess knowledge of HR laws and regulations regarding recruitment and employment practices. Strong computer skills (experience with HRIS, ATS and marketing tools) required. Must be proficient in MS Office Suites. Strong interpersonal skills capable of relating to individuals at all levels. Must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the public image. Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to write correspondences, emails, etc. Ability to read and understand instructions, labels, reports, etc. Possess passion for helping others; customer-service focused; helpful and positive attitude. Must be safety minded and willing to put safety first in performing all duties. Able to travel to job fairs, other office locations, seminars, conferences, etc.

Noise level for the work environment is moderate (business office with computers/printers, light traffic, etc.).


This position may require protracted or irregular hours. Flexibility to work irregular hours is necessary due to client needs.
