New England Donor Services (NEDS) coordinates organ and tissue donation in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, the eastern counties of Vermont and Bermuda. Responsible for one of the largest of the 57 Organ Procurement Organizations (OPOs) that make up the nation’s donation system, NEDS works with about 200 hospitals and serves 14 million people in our region, screening nearly 50,000 potential donor referrals annually. With approximately $90M in operating revenues, NEDS employs 250 clinical and non-clinical staff members throughout New England.

Job Description


This is a flexible hybrid position, a combination of remote and 1-2 days weekly in the Waltham, MA office. In order to be employed at NEDS, you must be vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19.

Join our dynamic team and recruit individuals passionate about making a difference in people’s lives. The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, implementing strategies to identify, attract and hire top talent to meet the mission of NEDS.

What will you do?

  • Facilitate a full-cycle process for all clinical and corporate positions, partnering with hiring managers on recruiting strategy, job postings, identifying channels to source both active and passive qualified candidates, managing interviews, salary negotiations and supporting the onboarding process
  • Develop and track measureable facets of the recruiting and hiring process including time-to-fill, retention, and quality of hire.
  • Develop and maintain employee interview team training, manage the applicant tracking system (ATS), manage the employee referral bonus program
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to conduct the 30/60/90 day new hire check-ins to identify trends and opportunities for targeted improvement around hiring and first year retention
  • Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, in-service training programs, workshops and literature; remain current on recruitment trends and technology

Qualifications


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Thorough understanding of federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, including those related to equal opportunity
  • Ability to maintain and use solid judgment with highly confidential, sensitive information
  • Ability to develop effective professional relationships, possesses superior communication skills, and demonstrated ability to quickly understand the culture of an organization and work effectively within it
  • Ability to create and implement effective recruitment strategies to fill unique positions
  • Strong analytical skills and judgment; ability to collect, analyze and present data by first identifying patterns, trends and relationships among variables and then identifying responses
  • Proficiency with MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors’ degree
  • 3+ years progressive recruitment experience, including sourcing and full-cycle recruiting, with at least 1 year specializing in full-cycle recruitment
  • Strong ATS experience with sourcing, tracking, and managing candidates
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP or other HR certification preferred
