REPORTS TO: Director of Human Resources

SUPERVISES: Co-management of Recruitment Staff

AUTHORITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide recruitment expertise, coaching and guidance while managing a recruiting team that fills a variety of skilled labor requisitions throughout the year.
Responsible for the development and implementation of the recruitment process and strategies to attract, select and retain top talent across the company. Consistently assess current and future business needs and develop strategic staffing plans to meet company objectives.
Serve as a subject matter expert and consultant to HR and the leadership team on talent acquisition and retention strategies. Work with business and human resource leaders to assess future skill requirements and develop appropriate talent recruiting strategies to aid the business in acquiring the requisite skills and capabilities.
Educate internal partners on best practices in sourcing, legal requirements, interviewing skills, developmental programs and other related topics.
Support internal career mobility through partnering with business leaders to identify opportunities to fill talent goals.
In collaboration with Marketing formulate and implement an employment branding strategy that effectively articulates employee value proposition in order to attract top talent. Ensure the consistent application of the brand externally with candidates and internally with employees.
Leverage social networking and other cutting edge recruiting technologies and tools to connect with a broad and diverse talent network.
Ensure accurate and meaningful job and candidate profiles that attract the right talent and establish clear expectations.
Determine and apply appropriate assessment and selection tools to drive highest quality candidate selection, matching the right people to the right jobs. Includes training of hiring managers on selection skills.
Develop and maintain recruiting and sourcing policies, processes, procedures and metrics on recruiting and retention that align with company goals.
Develop scalable recruiting processes that meet the high volume recruiting goals in the most efficient and effective manner. Use data to develop and analyze key metrics to understand and improve recruiting effectiveness. Take proactive action to increase efficiencies and effect metrics in areas of cost, speed to hire, new hire retention, etc.
Manages ATS; working directly with vendor for process improvements, system upgrades as well as key contact for internal HR team on training and troubleshooting usage questions.
Assists in the development and execution of the company's diversity recruitment strategy. Ensures compliance in areas of OFCCP, FCRA, EEO, etc.; collaborates with affirmative action team to complete timely submissions of affirmative action plan.
Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Organizational Development, or related field required or equivalent of directly related experience.
Working knowledge of and experience developing and executing talent acquisition strategies for a large corporation.
Prior responsibility for recruiting within a high-volume fast paced environment with varied business objectives and recruiting priorities.
Proven track record for producing hiring results; demonstrated success in developing and maintaining professional contacts.
Has implemented best-in-class recruitment processes, metrics, assessments, and tools across a large divisional or corporate staffing and recruitment function.
Proven experience acting as a thought partner to executive leadership. Has guided top leadership with their talent management strategies through periods of change and expansion.
Solid project management skills including the ability to set priorities, coordinate resources including effective delegation of tasks, adhere to timelines, and deliver desired results while juggling multiple projects.
Requires strong customer service orientation and the ability to maintain confidentiality, as well as exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage internal customer relationships.
Demonstrated working experience in HR, beyond a Recruitment role, and in a manufacturing environment.
Well-versed in all applicable Federal, State, and Local employment laws and regulations.
Extensive knowledge of the functions and capabilities of an applicant tracking system, preferably Workday; proficient with Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS.
10+ years of experience in full life cycle recruiting for positions at all levels; 5 years leading talent acquisition or HR teams.
Exposure to the process of developing an employment brand with experience ensuring that this message is consistent across the organization is preferred.
PHR and/or SPHR preferred.

DIRECTION EXERCISED: Full discretionary authority to assign work to recruitment staff. Works independently to deliver work products against aggressive deadlines. Escalates complex issues to Director of Human Resources as appropriate.

DISCRETION EXERCISED: Incumbent will be expected to work with a wide degree of creativity and latitude while navigating through ambiguous situations to meet goals and objectives. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to tour all vessels and work sites.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and walk.Specific physical requirements include the following: Ability to utilize personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toes shoes, goggles, respirator, safety harness, safety line, flotation gear, etc.) safely per OSHA standards. Ability to withstand cold and hot temperatures. Able to respond to verbal and audible sounds/commands. Able to utilize adequate visual skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $45.00 per hour
