Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Integration Thread Lead/Principal Integration Thread Lead to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position can be located in Palmdale, CA, El Segundo, CA or San Diego, CA.

This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration of subsystems and/or systems.
• Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, Identifies hardware/software interface problems, including input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.
• Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive integration plans, and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.
• Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.
• Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance.
• Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to subsystems and systems.

This requisition may be filled either at the Integration Thread Lead level or Principal Integration Thread Lead level.

Basic Qualifications - Integration Thread Lead

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) with 2 years of engineering experience; 0+ years with Masters in STEM and 0+ with PhD in STEM
• Active in-scope DoD Top Secret clearance and current Strike special program access
• Should have experience in troubleshooting of small to large scale infrastructure

Basic Qualifications - Principal Integration Thread Lead

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) with 5 years of engineering experience; 2 years with Masters in STEM and 0 with PhD in STEM
• Active in-scope DoD Top Secret clearance and current Strike special program access
• Should have experience in troubleshooting of small to large scale infrastructure

Preferred Qualifications:

• Able to cooperatively develop integration plans/procedures from sources such as functional/performance requirements and stated technical capabilities, monitor the integration of the test resources, execute these detailed integration procedures, analyze integration results, and present the results orally and in written format.
• Should have either knowledge of or practical experience with industry or DoD test methodologies and terminology

This position reports to Palmdale, CA, USA, however, you are able to work from any of the additional 2 locations listed above.

Salary Range: $85,000 USD - $127,400 USD

Salary Range 2: $104,600 USD - $157,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
