Job Overview:
Lead Linde Gases US implementation and operation of endpoint protection platform for Linde process plants
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with 24/7 MDR team supporting endpoint protection platforms
- Coordinate platform upgrades and testing with global and US operations engineering teams within regulatory and validation requirements specific to US and Canadian businesses
- Identify opportunities to improve OT security posture across endpoint and core infrastructure services (AD, network security, etc.)
- Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats at business unit level. Lead efforts to respond to security incidents and implement mitigations in a timely manner.
- Support user management platforms for the OT network
- Support AD security tools and processes for the OT network
- Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional peers outside of LGUS, including COE, Enterprise IT SOC and Networking Teams, other operating segment OT leads
- Act as an advocate for OT security and lead efforts to promote a wholistic approach to addressing security challenges.
- Provide support and guidance to operations engineering teams regarding technology and company standards.
- Support KPI reporting for US OT environment to COE
- Keep informed of and utilize emerging technologies to implement and improve security solutions in OT.
- Support the design and development of security best practices preferably in an OT environment; implementation of security measures to meet business goals, customer needs, regulatory and audit requirements.
- Familiar with vulnerability testing and RED team exercises
- Familiar with scenarios such as data breaches, hacking, account hijacking, malicious insiders, authentication, behavioural (EDR) and FULL-UTM pattern-based attacks.
- Identity and access management; tracking and creating/enforcing policies that govern system access to sensitive DCS/HMI technology (Siemens PCS7, ABB 800xA, iFix, Wonderware) resources and information assets.
Qualifications:
- 5 Years min experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to identify risks associated with business processes, operations, technology projects and enterprise information security programs.
- Ability to function as an enterprise security subject matter expert who can explain complex topics to those without a technical background.
- Identify changes needed and find pragmatic solutions.
- Proactively drive for continuous improvement
- Endpoint and network security vendor knowledge (Fortinet, Cisco and PaloAlto preferred)
- Advanced knowledge in EDR technology
- Advanced Windows operating systems knowledge for both obsolete and supported operating systems.
- Active Directory knowledge including Identity and User access management.
- Basic knowledge of router, switch and VLAN security
- Basic understanding of Control Systems, SCADA, HMIs, PLC/DCS etc
- Knowledge in Hypervisor technology as VMWare ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V
