Description

SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineer with experience with Data-as-a-Service to support to the US Space Force (USSF) in developing, deploying, and sustaining a National Security Space system within the Program Executive Office's Battle Management Command, Control and Computers portfolio in El Segundo, California.
Job Duties Include:
  • Support various systems architecting and engineering activities such as system requirements definition, design, interface management, data architecture development, verification and validation, integration, performance analysis, lifecycle cost analysis & estimation, decision analysis, and physical configuration assessments
  • Manage Data-as-a-Service platform for data ingestion, retention, processing, normalization, analysis, and visualization across the global space enterprise
  • Provide Integrated Product Support focusing on identifying, developing, implementing, incentivizing, and measuring quantifiable best value outcome-based product support solutions that optimize Life-Cycle Cost
  • Support and enable expansion of various applications to operational units
  • Support the development and refinement of acquisition strategies as well as identifying program execution issues and provide recommendations when possible

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience supporting and/or managing technical programs throughout the engineering life cycle
  • Data-as-a-Service architectures and solution implementation
  • Requires an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Sensitive Compartmented Information and Special Program access as well as willing to consent to a counter-intelligence polygraph examination
Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Agile and/or DevOps development processes
  • Experience within the National Security Space and, or the Space Control mission area
  • Experience working in development environment and, or U.S. Government weapons system program office

Target salary range: $150,001 - $175,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
