Position Summary
As a System Administrator you will be responsible for assisting in the management of the Information Systems infrastructure for the healthcare system including assisting with maintenance, set up and changes related to the local area network (LAN) infrastructure, advising management of concerns networking LAN trends, technical problems, need for equipment, need for software upgrades, and priorities related to the network. Assist in maintaining proper levels of security of system and information using patches, virus management, and domain-level security tools.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of three (3) years of previous experience working in an enterprise-grade technical environment with Microsoft, Linux, and Unix operating systems.
- Experience with enterprise-grade backup systems.
- Experience with enterprise-grade datacenter architecture and design, including power, equipment installation and cabling.
- Experience with enterprise-grade system redundance and fault tolerance.
- Experience with enterprise-grade storage systems.
- Experience with server virtualization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience while winning their confidence.
