Responsibilities:
As a Switchboard Operator, you will:
7am-3:30pm
HRI Hospital is seeking a full-time Switchboard Operators. We are looking for an individual who has availability during the day and evening shifts Monday-Friday. There are hourly shift differentials for both evening and weekend shifts.
As a Switchboard Operator, you will:
- Operate the hospital switchboard in a professional, courteous, and effective manner
- Respond to and activate hospital emergency codes and pages in a responsible and timely manner
- Welcome visitors to the hospital in a warm, professional and helpful manner
- Protect confidentiality of hospitalized patients
- Facilitate internal hospital communications in a professional and efficient manner
- Consistently, accurately, and neatly perform related clerical duties and other tasks assigned by supervisor including typing and copying
- Maintain both personal and work area in an appropriate professional and neat manner
- Reflect professional reliability and dependability through compliance of hospital attendance policy
Shifts:
7am-3:30pm
3p-11:30pm
Qualifications:
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent;
- MS4 experience preferred
- Experience: Experience operating switchboard, computer, and other business equipment
- Skills: Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Strong ability to multi-task.
