Hall Industries, Inc. is currently seeking for a full-time qualified Swiss Machinist for 1st and 2nd Shifts. The position is in Ellwood City, PA.
Swiss Machinist 1st & Afternoon Shifts Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Operate/Setup Swiss Lathes.
- Must be good at Math, Blueprint reading, and measuring difficult parts with Very Close tolerances.
- Assure all safety and housekeeping procedures are followed. Report all quality and scrap issues to Supervisor.
- Must be hard-working.
- Must be reliable.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Set-up and Program experience is a PLUS.
- Understand your customer’s requirements.
- Meet requirements on time.
- Work with others in team-oriented environment
- Complete all proper quality documents & first article inspection
Swiss Machinist 1st & Afternoon Shifts Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Must have at least 3 plus years’ experience in operating Swiss Lathes.
- Experienced with Star, Citizen, and Tsugami (a PLUS)
- Have a good mechanical aptitude, machine de-bugging and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Tool Knowledge, Blueprint reading, tolerance and program understanding.
- Must be resourceful and a self-starter.
