The award winning Nitro Swim School has a rare opportunity for the right LEADER!
The Nitro Swim School in Bee Cave, TX (southwest suburb of Austin) is looking for the right person to be its Swim School Manager. This opening doesn’t happen too often, and for the right person, it is a fantastic position!
We’re located at 15506 Hwy 71 West, just 2.7 miles west of the Galleria. We’re indoors, our pool is awesome, the water is sparkling and UV filtered, and kept at a perfectly warm 88 degrees!
Our Lessons Team is trained, and they’ve been rocking it! We’re approaching our 12th year and enrollments continue to be strong. The only piece of the puzzle missing is we need the right person to LEAD them! This is a very unique opportunity for the right person.
Duties will include scheduling, ongoing training of our Instructors, answering emails, providing updates, being the main liaison with the parents, customer service issues, hiring future Instructors / managing your staff, basically making it all run like a well-oiled machine.
The Nitro Swim School Manager will be the face of the school, and will lead by example by being positive, energetic, happy, and a role model. You will be able to manage several moving parts at once, and will possess an extensive Swimming background.
Through your leadership, you will be responsible for helping our enrollment numbers grow each month.
Others “do” lessons, we TEACH Swimming is not just a cute tagline. It’s what we do, it’s what we embody every minute of every lesson.
You will be able to relate to 3 yr olds as positively as you relate to grandparents. You will be well groomed, articulate, and positive. Smokers need not apply (we’re all about swimming and health!!).
Nitro Swimming emphasizes excellence in all we do. Attention to detail is an understatement.
Our Swim School Manager will be a quick thinker, possess excellent communication skills, and be a TOTAL TEAM player.

Hours are typically in 4-1/2 to 5 hour shifts, totaling approximately 24-30 “swim” hours per week. There are also “off deck” hours required to be successful in this position. You will also have an Assistant Manager reporting to you as well as Administrative help which handles the registrations/new customer inquiries.
Our main demand will be in the Monday-Friday PM shifts (3:45-7:45PM) and two Saturdays per month (7:15AM-1:00PM'ish).

This position is a full time salaried position with an attractive salary of $60,000/year. In addition to a very solid base salary, we also provide insurance through Humana which would start on the first of the next month after 60 days. Our Nitro Swim School Manager position also offers 12 days of Paid Time Off in the first year, including paid vacation days for the holidays of New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day, when the Nitro Swim School is closed.
