The Bunge Trainee program is an 18-months rotational program through areas of focus to develop knowledge of specific functions. Focus areas will be determined based on the candidate’s education, experience, and interest. The program entails:
- Structured learning goals, combining soft skills training, hands-on projects, and Bunge knowledge.

Focus Area Overview:
This specific trainee role will be focused on supporting Bunge’s annual reporting of environmental, social and governance (ESG) information to key external platforms. This involves collecting and analyzing hundreds of ESG KPIs from a variety of corporate functions, manage the internal database that contains them, and input the data into voluntary platforms (including the annual sustainability report, CDP, and other sources). The trainee will also support the long-term disclosure process strategy.
By directly interfacing with a variety of key business functions, a successful trainee will understand how sustainability is quickly becoming a value driver for companies and is an integral part of the business’s success. The role will also allow a trainee to learn about Bunge’s sustainability profile, its performance, and its interactions with key stakeholders.
Skills/Experience Requirements:
- 0-1 year of experience; prior internship experience strongly preferred
- Must be collaborative, results oriented and possess exceptional critical thinking skills
- Exceptional verbal, written and listening communication skills
- Analytical problem-solving skills with a high level of curiosity to learn and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of corporate sustainability strongly preferred
- Strong excel knowledge desirable
- Proficiency in standard PC applications
- Willingness to relocate domestically and/or internationally for future growth opportunities
- Proficiency in other languages beneficial
