We are looking for an outside salesperson to help us increase sales and address customer needs in the Houston market. Primary customer bases are land surveyors, civil engineers, municipalities, construction, and oil & gas.

Sales Support

  • Maintain relationships with existing accounts.
  • Prospect, demonstrate, and close sales of Trimble Geospatial equipment.
  • Forecast sales and opportunity data monthly and quarterly.
  • Report on regional sales results (monthly, quarterly & annually)
  • Contact existing sales accounts on a scheduled, reoccurring basis via phone, email & office visits.
  • Work closely with internal teams to meet individual and group sales quotas.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives from different territories to share best practices and support a cohesive sale approach.

Technical Support

  • Answer technical support phone calls and emails
  • Assists with walk-in customers at Houston office
  • Conduct training seminars with Trimble Geospatial hardware & software
  • Prepare new/used equipment for installation and assist with installation/training when needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with Trimble Geospatial field and office software is preferred: Trimble Access, TerraSync/TerraFlex, Trimble Business Center, Trimble GNSS, Trimble robotic total stations, or related geospatial hardware and software.
  • Basic understanding of survey & mapping field procedures.
  • Computer Literacy Required. Knowledge of MS Office suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams

Compensation

  • Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
  • Compensation includes base salary, commissions & bi-annual bonuses.
