Job Title: Surgical Technologist

Location: Gettysburg, PA (USA)

Salary: $2400-2600 Weekly

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join our growing healthcare team in Gettysburg, PA. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain sterile fields before, during, and after surgical procedures

• Prepare and arrange surgical instruments and equipment for procedures

• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures

• Provide assistance during surgical procedures, such as retracting tissue, suturing wounds, and passing instruments

• Monitor equipment and instruments to ensure they are in proper working order

• Prepare and transport patients to and from the operating room

• Participate in the cleaning and sterilization of equipment and instruments

• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, supplies, and patient care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program

• Current certification as a surgical technologist

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a surgical technologist

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
