$3,000 hiring bonus | Orthopedics Team
Our Surgical Technologists are there to prepare for a patient’s arrival and stay in the operating room to ensure their best possible outcome. You’ll prepare operating rooms for a wide range of surgeries and procedures and inventory surgical materials and tools to assure patient safety all while working closely with physicians, CRNA’s, registered nurses, and other surgical personnel in delivering quality patient care.
Current Openings:
- Full-time, 60-80 hours every two weeks, mainly Monday-Friday, 8 & 10 hour shifts between 6am-6pm with occasional evening and weekend call, approximately every 4-6th weekend, rotating holidays.
- Part-time 46-54 hours every two weeks, mainly Monday-Friday, 8 & 10 hour shifts between 6am-6pm with occasional evening and weekend call, approximately every 4-6th weekend, rotating holidays.
- All positions will require you to be on call multiple days each month and will be required to get to the St. Cloud Hospital within 30 minutes. Amount of call varies by team. We do have call rooms available at the hospital to use if you choose.
Our Teams
Within our Surgery department you will work on one of six specialized teams. This position will be a part of our Team 2: Orthopedics and Podiatry team. During the orientation process, you will cross train to all teams so you are familiar with each.
- Team 1: Urology, GYN, Ophthalmology
- Team 2: Orthopedics, Podiatry
- Team 3: General, Bariatric, Plastics, Trauma
- Team 4: Neurosurgery, ENT, Dental, Pain
- Team 5: Cardiac, Vascular
- Team 6: Endovascular
Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program required
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required (can be obtained upon hire)
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred
$3,000 Sign-on Bonus Eligibility: To be eligible for the sign-on bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. Previous CentraCare/Carris employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
