Position: Associate Manager, Procurement - Supply Risk Management
Location: Norwalk, CT
Reports To: Manager, Supply Risk Management and Business Operations
Job Description:
As part of the Enterprise Procurement Team, the Associate Manager, Procurement - Supply Risk Management will be primarily responsible for supporting the Supply Risk Management program as well as supporting other strategic initiatives within the Procurement function. These initiatives will include evaluating supply continuity risk across the product portfolio, supporting make vs. buy analysis, regional source alternatives, and helping to improve agility with our supply base in partnership with the Category Sourcing teams within the organization.
Responsibilities:
The Associate Manager, Procurement Program Management will work directly with various teams across all of the following objectives:
· Assist in the development of the framework for the supply risk management program across the
Enterprise Procurement Team, in collaboration with key cross-functional stakeholders.
· Support the analytics to evaluate of the current state of direct materials and finished goods sourcing, evaluate supply risk levels related to single sourced, and China sourced items, and help develop risk mitigation strategies in coordination with the Category Sourcing Team.
· Provide insight and analysis for potential improvements around supply agility and flexibility during development of risk mitigation strategies.
· Provide support for the continued the rollout of the Strategic Supplier Partnership program.
· Support supplier lead-time optimization to align with business requirements to drive supplier responsiveness.
· Assist with initiatives to ensure better alignment between demand plan and supplier capacity plan
· Actively participate in project reviews and status updates, demonstrating a deep level of understanding with assigned projects
· Support the standardization of KPI development ensuring consistent ongoing measurement to drive actionable insights
· Leverage analytical techniques to further support complex procurement and supply chain projects
· Define and implement analytical tools utilizing Power BI to support spend diagnostic activities
Qualifications:
· Professional
o BA/BS degree in Supply Chain/Engineering or related technical field
o 3-5 years of applicable experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, or related fields
o Prior experience supporting enterprise-wide, complex programs (preferred)
o Previous experience within a publicly traded, Fortune 500 Consumer Products company
(preferred, but not required)

o Experience in developing and deploying project best practices, policies, procedures, and processes

o Demonstrates expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI)
o Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills
o Ability to synthesize complex data topics into format that is share-able at a high level

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
