We are currently seeking a Supply Continuity Program Manager to join our Navistar Procurement Supply Continuity team (Procurement Command Center).

This position will support the implementation of supplier development strategies to significantly improve Navistar global supply base, including support of critical supplier capacity, manufacturing, supply chain and delivery issues to ensure the continuity of supply to our customers.
Responsibilities:
  • Actively engage with Navistar Procurement Supply Continuity Team (Procurement Command Center) and key support functions including supplier development, supply chain, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, service, and quality.
  • Provides program management and back-office support to the Procurement Supply Continuity team members.
  • Develops, maintains, and communicates executive level reporting metrics and plans related to high-risk supplier and supply chain situations.
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting project/case progress, along with eliminating barriers to project/case success.
  • Create and manage project/case, Procurement Supply Continuity metrics, and timelines for action items.
  • Evaluate and assess result of projects/cases, provides feedback and analysis of status.
  • Exceptional data analytics skills, including Excel, Power BI & PowerPoint.
Performs Gatekeeper functions for Project/Case assignment and workload. Tracks Root Cause and associated action items for permanent corrective actions. Coordinates executive report outs & Executive communications through excel and PowerPoint. Leads assigned calls and coordinates meetings to review status on Projects/cases and analysis of status. Actively reviews processes and recommends changes to achieve efficiencies & continuous process improvements. Completes data analytic projects and reports. May require presenting to Sr. Leadership. May require periodic travel. Implements and communicates company policies and procedures for procurement within the Procurement Supply Continuity Team (Procurement Command Center).
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 2 years of purchasing/procurement experience
OR
  • Master's degree
OR
  • At least 4 years of purchasing/procurement experience
Additional Requirements:
  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
