Job description
LINE-X is adding a Supply Chain Manager to its growing team in Charlotte, NC! This individual will be responsible for contributing to the creation of LINE-X supply chain processes and systems that create a revenue and profit stream for the company, deliver compelling savings and strong service levels to the Franchisees, and drive new service/product innovation to increase same-store sales. This role exists to create and maintain value through internal stakeholder collaboration, supply base optimization and leverage, competitive sourcing, skilled negotiation, and effective controls and processes, thereby achieving maximum total value for LINE-X.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute raw material purchases to maximize savings and minimize inventory.
  • Participate in the creation of a professional supply chain organization with supporting systems.
  • Coordinate and execute finished goods purchases to maximize savings and ensure supply chain flexibility.
  • Participate in the development of a new supply chain planning system to forecast demand and supply planning.
  • Includes but is not limited to raw materials, finished goods, drums, totes, pallets, packaging supplies, transportation, and logistics.
  • Assist with product management function that drives effective services/SKU management, product/services innovations to drive same store sales.
  • Interface with broader IXS supply chain organization, proactively manage supply of chemical products to keep costs low and supply uninterrupted.
  • Includes but is not limited to strategic sourcing, transactional procurement, demand and supply planning, transportation and logistics, warehouse management, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Provide continuous review of departmental processes to improve overall efficiencies.

Education:


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Advanced Degree in Supply Chain Management (or related field)
  • 5+ years of related professional experience
  • 7+ years of related professional experience with management experience
  • Supply chain experience across vendor management and negotiations, direct sourcing of product, and management of supply chains (from raw materials to finished goods).
  • Demonstrated data analytics, data mining, and ability to translate into actionable plans.
  • Contract negotiations experience desirable (knowledge of legal terms/concepts is a plus).
  • Experience in developing category/commodity sourcing strategies is a plus.
