Position Purpose:

Responsible for daily activities that include Scheduling/Planning for Molding and Extrusion, Purchasing, Warehousing,

• Update daily schedules with new work orders to ensure the short term order demands are being met.
• Work with shipping to ensure jobs are completed in time for 100% OTIF. Double check each morning and work closely with Shipping Supervisor.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inventory Levels and Accuracy
  • Raw Materials
  • Work-in-process
  • Finished Goods

• Entry of items and Bill of Materials into business software (reference IQMS from this point).

• Work with customer service concerning new items, shortages, production problems, shipping concerns, etc. Identify and correct issues to continue to strive for 100% order fulfillment as requested by the customer.

• Update Purchase Orders as required by the Purchasing Manager. Maintain records both hard copy and electronic.

• Must follow procedures and guidelines as defined by the Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) and the Master Cleaning Schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: College Graduate with a degree in Business and or Operations Planning. Will consider experience in lieu of college background

Required knowledge:

• Background in plastics would be beneficial.

• Must have knowledge of ERP Systems.

• Strong background in WMS and scanning.

• Must have excellent computer skills especially strong background in use of an ERP system

• Must have strong time management skills.

• Must have strong communication skills.

Quality Standards: Must be able to understand quality standards and perform quality checks.

Safety: To maintain proper safety standards according to established Sanitary and Housekeeping Practices (GMP Compliance). Proper use of all safety equipment i.e.: proper use of personal protective gear including hairnets, gloves and safety glasses.
